Someone please help me. My name is Vicki and my husbands name is Glenn. I am a real person, ths is a real story. I am married to a man who pays child support for 3 children from a former marriage. He is a maintenace mechanic who makes good money, until domestic relations takes half of it and is left with 350.00 a week if he is lucky. I am raising my own 2 teens and receive NO support. We live paycheck to paycheck, but back in the winter my car (1997 Taurus) just .......died. I had a loan on the car. The transmission had died and the car was not worth fixing. I had to pay over 3000.00 (all the savings we had) to pay off my loan and use as a downpayment on another used car. I have a loan on this car too now. Right after that my daughter came down with some type of virus that our Dr. could not determine, it was test after test, persription after perscription and the co-pays added up to 100's of $. (she had a rare case of "cat scratch" disease!!!!!) Soon we feel behind on our mortgage, our bills etc. I work as an insurance agent in a call center. 2 weeks ago, i was sent home because i was incoherant. I went to my Dr. to find my blood pressure was 175/125 (and I am already on blood pressure meds!) We had to take one of those horrible cash advances last week just so we could buy food. So I am home until I see my Dr. this Friday to see if I can return to work, i dont think I will because all of our bills are coming due next week..not to mention our house is about to go into foreclosure. I am under so much stress, how will explain to the kids when the electric is turned off next week. I cannot IMAGINE what my blood pressure must be. I have applied for every loan out there, (obviously we have bad credit) and have been turned down. I have no family to help me. I am hoping that there are people out there that will donate something, ANYTHING, $1.00, $5.00, anything that you can spare and will never miss to help us get through this time. I have nothing to sell, I dont have an engagement ring or anything of real value. I am very desperate and ashamed, but I know people get scammed all the time, so here is my email address:
